In a suicide car bomb attack on Sunday in the western Ghor province of Afghanistan 12 people died and more than 100 people were injured.
Kabul : Suicide car bomb attack in western Ghor province of Afghanistan on Sunday 12 people died and more than 100 people were injured. The head of the Ghor hospital, Mohammed Omar Lalzad, said that emergency room employees are treating the seriously and injured in general. They feared the death toll will rise.
Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Aran said the attack with a car bomb was carried out at the entrance to the provincial police chief’s office. Nobody claimed responsibility for the attack on Ghor. The attack took place while Qatar continued to hold talks between representatives of the Taliban and the Afghan government. Talks are continuing to end the decade-long war in the country.
