Seoul: The President of South Korea said that Kovid-19’s proposal to deal with infectious diseases like North Korea is still intact. North Korea has not responded to this, however.
President Moon Jae-in told reporters on Sunday that he believes North Korea faces “many problems” due to the global epidemic of the corona virus.
Moon has not discussed this in more detail. His intelligence agency had recently told lawmakers that trade in North Korea was severely affected by the global epidemic.
Moon said he would persuade North Korea to accept his offer to cooperate after the epidemic ended. Moon suggested re-connecting the railroad lines, reuniting families separated by war, and sending South Korean tourists to North Korea.
North Korea has taken several steps to prevent virus infection, but claims that there has not been a single case of coronavirus. Many foreign experts are skeptical of this claim.
