US President Donald Trump voted early in the US election on Saturday as he prepares for another grueling day of campaigning ahead of the November 3 election.
Trump, who passed Democrat Joe Biden in the polls, voted at a library in West Palm Beach, Florida, serving as a polling station.
He has a house in this state and last year changed his residence from his native New York.
“I voted for a man named Trump,” he said, smiling as he emerged.
During the vote, he wore a mask, rare for the president, who played the epidemic.
About 55 million Americans have now voted early, because coronoviruses made in-person voting more problematic.
Trump said: “It was a very safe vote. When you send a ballot, I can tell you that Trump said it was asserted without finding evidence of a postal vote. ”
“Everything was fine, very strict, according to the rules. When you send out your ballot it can never be safe like that, ”he said.
Trump is making one final frantic race to catch up with Biden in the final days of the race, with rallies scheduled for Saturday in North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin, all states that are battlefield states.
“You’re going to be very busy today because we’re going to work hard,” Trump told reporters.
