LOUIS VUITTON OWNERS BEGIN MANUFACTURING HAND SANITIZERS TO CURB BOTTLENECKS

Louis Vuitton has announced that it will launch its own hand disinfectant perfume production line, which is part of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Paris-based luxury brand has made the decision to address the nationwide shortage of disinfectants across France.

“These gels will be delivered to health officials free of charge,” said Louis Vuitton-LVMH’s owner on Sunday.

“LVMH will use the production lines of its perfume and cosmetic brands to produce large quantities of hydroalcoholic gels starting Monday,” added LVMH in a statement.

The latest figures show that 120 deaths have been recorded in France due to the spread of the coronavirus.

As a result of the situation, the country has closed cafes, restaurants and other non-essential stores to prevent the spread of the virus.

The COVID19 virus is said to have infected 162,687 people and killed more than 6,000 people.
