More than 50 million votes in the US presidential election Preliminary: report

Over 35 million people voted by mail and over 15 million people.

Washington:

More than 50 million Americans voted early in the White House race, with a group monitoring the vote on Friday pitting US President Donald Trump against Democrat Joe Biden.

Ahead of polling day on November 3, voters flock to register voters for the ballot, to avoid long lines for fear of catching crowded polling stations and coronoviruses.

According to the US Election Project managed by the University of Florida, more than 35 million people have now voted by mail and more than 15 million people leave their ballots in designated ballot boxes.
