New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has plans for a wedding but has yet to set a date. Responding to a question in New Plymouth on Wednesday, she said, “We have some plans.
“We may need to share some of our plans with family and friends before we do it more broadly.” Ardern, 40, is engaged to TV host Clarke Gayford, 44, and has a two-year-old daughter.
In October, she led the Labor Party to an overwhelming victory in the general election and secured her second term. Ardern has received worldwide acclaim for her decisive response to COVID-19 and healing the country after the 2019 white supremacist Muslim massacre.
