French President Emmanuel Macron’s posters were found stuck on a busy road in southern Mumbai, which were later removed by police. This information was given by an official on Friday. The official said passers-by and motorists in the Bhendi Bazar area saw hundreds of macro posters coming out of criticism from Muslim countries over a controversy over the cartoons in France. These posters were pasted on the Mohammed Ali road under the JJ flyover on Thursday evening. A video also went viral on social media in which the vehicle was seen passing over the poster.

Mumbai Police (Mumbai Police) spokesperson S Chaitanya confirmed the incident and said Pydhuni police removed the posters as soon as they learned of them. Another official said that no cases have yet been recorded in this regard.
