Known only as Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin is currently one of the wealthiest people on the globe, with an estimated net worth of $1.5 billion.
Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of the Bitcoin network, broke into the top 20 richest billionaires in the world earlier this year, around April. However, as the price of Bitcoin dropped, the inventor’s net worth collapsed as well. This week, Nakamoto was re-inducted into the Forbes list of the world’s wealthiest people. Nakamoto finished in 19th place the last time around. And this time, the inventor of Bitcoin has risen to the 20th richest person on the planet, surpassing Bill Gates.

Six months after Bitcoin reached its ‘All-Time High,’ Satoshi Nakamoto has risen to become the world’s 20th richest person. Bitcoin (BTC), the most valuable cryptocurrency, has soared above the $60K mark. On Friday, it reached a high of $62,945 dollars. By combining the current exchange rate with the estimated supply of Bitcoins that the creator is supposed to own, it has been calculated that the inventor of Bitcoin is the 20th richest person in the planet.
In a report by Whale Alert, which investigates the “Patoshi Patterns,” this is examined further. According to this claim, Satoshi Nakamoto is thought to be the owner of 1,125 million bitcoins. It is based on Sergio Demian Lerner’s 2013 research on ‘Patoshi patterns,’ which was published in the journal Scientific American.
One of the reasons why some believe that Satoshi Nakamoto is the sole owner of this money is that it is estimated that the inventor of Bitcoin owns around 1 million of the cryptocurrency. Of course, there are lower bound estimates that claim the creator received ‘just’ 750,000 BTC in compensation. Then there are upper bound estimations based on the assumption that Nakamoto has more than 1.1 million Bitcoin.
The crypto community as a whole believes that Nakamoto owns approximately 1 million Bitcoins, and that, because he or she acquired these during the first year of Bitcoin’s existence, the inventor also owns all of the “forks” linked with the cryptocurrency. Nakamoto owns around $61 billion in un-spent wealth, which includes Bitcoin and three Forks. Moreover, it appears that, given the present rising trend in the price, this could rise much further.
