UK Finance Minister Sage Craze said on Thursday he was confident and optimistic the Brexit trade deal could be reached with the European Union – and the size of the deal was clear.
As the UK leaves just five weeks before exiting the European Union’s orbit, the two sides are trying to strike a trade deal that would avoid a difficult end to the five-year Brexit crisis.
“A lot of work is going on, and I think with a creative attitude and goodwill we can make it happen on all sides,” the infatuation told Sky. “The size of the deal is clear.”
“I hope the European Union will see that most of what we are asking for has been agreed with other countries,” said Sanak. “Teams are tough at work.”
European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen said on Thursday Britain was ready for the possibility of leaving the EU without a new trade deal despite “real progress” in the relentless Brexit negotiations.
An official involved in the negotiations said the deal was possible, but not possible until the first weekend. An EU diplomat said he would likely arrive next week.
