WITHDRAWING MONEY WITH YOUR SMARTPHONE EXPLAINED IN 5 STEPS

A bank card, on the other hand, is rather out of date. These days, you can even make a cash withdrawal using your smartphone.

Completing a payment with your smartphone or smartwatch has become the most natural thing on the planet. However, the wallet has not yet been able to entirely abandon ship. In the case of cash withdrawals, this is definitely not the case. You still require that bank card, don’t you think? Is it a good idea? You can now withdraw money from a bank using your smartphone as well. We’ll walk you through how it works.

People have been using their debit cards to withdraw cash from automated teller machines. However, you will now be able to withdraw cash from your account utilising UPI apps such as Google Pay and Paytm by just scanning the QR Code. In order to do this, NCR Corporation, the firm that manufactures ATMs, recently introduced the world’s first interoperable cardless cash withdrawal (ICCW) solution based on the UPI platform. This means that you will still be able to effortlessly withdraw the amount you require even if your debit card is not with you at all times.

The following are the procedures to take to withdraw money from an ATM using a UPI app:

Step1: First, open any UPI application on your smartphone, such as Google Pay, BHIM, Paytm, PhonePe, or Amazon.

Step 2: After that, you must scan the QR code that appears on the ATM screen.

Step 3: In the following step, simply enter the amount of cash you wish to withdraw and then click the Proceed button. Keep in mind that you will only be able to withdraw a maximum of Rs 5,000 at a time utilising this feature.

Step 4: After clicking the proceed option, you will be prompted to enter your UPI PIN, which can be either 4 or 6 digits long.

In step 5, cash is disbursed from the ATM, and you can take it from there as needed.

The UPI and its function are discussed.

It is also known as the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), and it is a real-time payment system that allows you to move money from one bank account to another using a mobile application. You will simply need to link your bank account with the UPI app in order to take use of this service. A person may also manage many bank accounts from a single UPI app, which is convenient.
